Attention ACH Originators — To help reduce payroll redirection fraud, NACHA guidelines require that the Company Entry Description field must contain the description “PAYROLL” for PPD (Consumer) credit entries used for wages, salaries, and similar types of compensation.
Please review your ACH templates and ensure that “PAYROLL” is included in the Company Entry Description field for applicable payroll files.
All templates should be updated no later than 3/20/2026 to ensure compliance with this requirement.
