Attention ACH Originators — To help reduce payroll redirection fraud, Nacha guidelines require that the Template Description field must contain the description “PAYROLL” for PPD (Consumer) credit entries used for wages, salaries, and similar types of compensation.
Please review your ACH templates and ensure that “PAYROLL” is included in the Template Description field for applicable payroll files.
